Partnerships
We consider collaborations that fit a publication about ordinary objects, routines, language, customs and places. A good proposal serves readers clearly and leaves room for honest, independent editorial judgement.
Possible collaborations
Proposals may include a clearly labelled partner feature, a reader resource, a relevant event listing or a placement linking readers to a suitable external resource. Each idea should explain its purpose, intended audience, proposed material and any commercial relationship. We do not accept arrangements that require an undisclosed endorsement or a guaranteed editorial conclusion.
Placement and labelling
Partner links or placements that appear across the site are identified as partner material wherever they appear. Paid or supplied features are labelled clearly on the material itself. Labels are not removed to make a placement resemble independent editorial coverage.
Making a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include the organisation or project name, the proposed format, what readers would receive and how the relationship is funded or supported. Everyday News Compass may decline proposals that do not fit its subject, standards or reader interests.
